FEENSTRA FUNDRAISING MOMENTUM GROWS

Raises over $190,000 for 4th Quarter

Hull, IA — State Senator Randy Feenstra, Republican in Iowa’s 4th District, raised $190,077 in the fourth quarter of 2019 and has $489,000 cash in the bank leading up to the June 2nd Republican primary.

The most recent fundraising quarter marked the second best of the year for Feenstra, bringing the total raised for the campaign to $721,272.

“Iowans are getting shortchanged by Congressman King and our fundraising success is a clear sign that people want their voice back. Because of his own actions, King lost his committee assignments in Washington, meaning the folks of Iowa’s 4th District lack a voice on the powerful Agriculture and Judiciary Committees. It’s time to turn the page and elect an effective conservative with a track record of results.”

The Feenstra campaign has received 1,570 contributions with 421 of those coming in the 4th quarter.

“Randy’s momentum continues to grow as we see support from new people in the district every day. At this point in the campaign, fundraising is one of the few verifiable markers for people to measure a campaign’s success. And by all measurements, Randy has dwarfed Congressman King, “said Matt Leopold, Feenstra campaign manager.

In addition to his fundraising success, Feenstra attracted the support of former Governor Terry Branstad, social conservative leader Bob Vander Plaats, more than 500 county chairs and 250 student chairs as well as numerous elected and conservative activist leaders throughout the 4th district.
